Convictional Team Handbook ​

This handbook describes why we exist, who we serve, what we value and how we work.

We originally managed all of the components of the Convictional Team Handbook, including policies and business norms, as internal documents. In July, 2025 we made the decision to migrate our policies into our codebase, and treat handbook documents like code.

We think there are many benefits to this including:

  • Leveraging the best practices of collaborative development: Changes to our policies are managed as git pull requests.
  • Publishing our policies publicly to customers, future employees and partners gives a lens into how our team operates, what we value, and the first priciples behind the products we build.
  • Managing our handbook as code provides a simple interface to the AI tools we leverage to have context of the people behind Convictional.

Over time, the entire Convictional Handbook will live here.
